Consoles (PS4/X360) on 1440p (QHD) monitor

I haven't used a QHD monitor for gaming, but as long as it is comparable to an HD monitor (720p) and does the scaling on its own, there should not be any issues. I've only had FHD (1080p) and UHD (2160p) monitors hooked up to my PS4 and Xbox One, but don't see why HD would be a problem.
Text may be a little blurry in some cases with the PS4, but the 360 will have no problems at all as most games only target that resolution. Not the same situation, but the only examples I have had experience with is trying to play older games, like the original Dead Rising on a 480p screen versus a 720p, the textbooks were nearly impossible to read. But on 720p or higher, you shouldn't run into any problems like that.
