Constant Beachballing / Spinning Disc

Hi Folks,

I remember there being a thread re: constant beachballing issues after 1.7-3.0 Firmware upgrade. Was this ever resolved as my MBP June 09 is becoming almost unusable as a result of the beachballing.

I recall PRAM reset being the best option at the time, was anything more permanent mentioned.

Had a lot of problems with the Beachball, etc. I found a post and used the Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner and knock on wood it has made all of them go away. It is worth a shot, here is the link from Apple. Really fixed issues with poor VMWare Fusion performance for me.
