After xmas I didn't use Logic for about a week and once I opened it again I started getting constant system overload messages. It's happening when I even have 1 or 2 audio tracks open and I've tried changing the buffer size, checked my vsts to see if any aren't working and tried to clean up my computer but nothing has worked since.

I've also noticed my whole computer slowing up (videos keep skipping, text takes a second to write on screen after typing). Could this be a faulty part in my machine (It's a macbook pro)? Before xmas it was flying, I had no problem with 50+ tracks running and I haven't installed anything since it began to slow up.

Any suggestions or idea appreciated

Nothing is taking up more than 2% other than Logic. I was running a project with 5 midi and 7 audio tracks and it was reaching 91% the cutting off. I removed all the midi and then it started reaching only 51% and still cuts off after only a few seconds.
