In the Contacts section of MobileMe, I created contact groups (ex: Family, Coworkers, Friends, etc). I dragged and dropped what I wanted into each group. I can see the groups on my iPhone, but when I select a contact group, there aren't any names inside of it. They are inside the proper groups in MobileMe, but not on my iPhone.

Any idea? Anyone having this issue too?

I have a similar problem with Contacts in Mobileme. It is very temperamental. When I search for a contact, only the name appears with no details like telephone number etc. However when I looked at my MacBookPro and MacBookAir, it seems to sync OK with Mobileme cloud and have the information. It just does not show it on the Mobileme. It does not happen all the time but most of the time. Try searching a contact in Mobileme by typing in a few letters of a name. You will see that for some of your contacts, only the name shows but not the rest of the information.:(

The groups I created in MobileMe show up on my iphone, but the contacts within them do not. The group folders on my iphone are empty. If I create new contacts in MobileMe they do show up in All Contacts on the iphone, but not in the groups they were dropped into.

Consider this a feature

Apple please fix this.

I never have a problem if I create all contacts / groups in address book locally. Then everything appears as it should locally, on the iPhone and on MobileMe...

Having said that, I think MobileMe (web) is just shy of being a completely un-usable and just looks plain faded and ugly! I stay away from it whenever possible. It runs painfully slow, especially calendar on my 3 power pc's. Even on my brand new 2.8 ghz 24" iMac it runs slowish. It just needs more work and I am sure apple will come thru in the end.
