Contact Name and Picture Not Showing Up On Mac iMessage App

Hello, my problem is just as the title states. I have one new contact that is only showing up as a number, not with the name and contact picture that I assigned to it. All my other contacts are fine. If it matters, this person doesn't have an iMessage/iphone. Any suggestions? Thanks
