Contact Picture quality

Has anybody noticed that when you add a reasonable image (not full screen necessarily) then you click on the image in the Contacts app, it shows as being much lower quality then the original?

Perfect! Thanks for the link.
I guess this changed with iOS8 because before that, images were all much higher quality.
I can see why they did it though
