Contact Pictures

What's the best method to get contact pictures in my contact list? I saw Facebook has an import but in the past it messed up the phone numbers because of fake numbers in FB

I just take Facebook photos and save them to my phone. Upload to a contact pic and then delete the picture from my phone. Every now and then one picture will go rouge for no reason and go all small upper right hand circle on me during an incoming call instead of full screen. Then I just go through and do it again.

Over time I have taken pictures of my main contacts, edited their contact page and added the photos one at at time.

This may be the best option then
