Contacted Applecare today. My headphones are broken

    My iphone headphones that I got with my Iphone 4s are broken.

    But anyway, I called Applecare and they said they will ship me new ones. She said she had to add a 30$ holding fee or something like that for shipping. The conversation kinda went fast and I forgot to tell her if ill be charged for shipping.

    So will I be charged for shipping? I still have a valid applecare ID.

    help appreciated.

    The credit card information gathered is in the event of non-return or an evaluation of mishandling/misuse. You have a certain number of days within which you must return to Apple the original headphones with the box and return shipping label, at which point it'll be examined and they will screen for accidental damage. If all is ok, the authorization amount is marked do not bill.
