I don't know what happened, but one day I was checking my messages and all the messages weren't attached to their contact information anymore. So if I opened the text messages I would only see the phone number, and not the name of the contact. I have tried a restore from backup, but it will only let me restore to the time after this problem occurred, which is weird, because I saved a back up copy when I did the updates (or at least the apple site says its suppose to automatically save it for you). Any one can help?

Tell me if I'm reading this right.

You want to text "Bob" who's number is 555-5555.

"Bob" is in your contact list.

But when you text him, it shows "555-5555" instead of "Bob"?
