Did anyone else notice the contacts app interface changed from when they originally announced the Apple Watch to the final release version?

This is very normal, app interfaces change as a company develops a product. But, I really liked the first version.

See it in this video at around 4:05:

The new app interface allows more contacts on the screen at one time, but in my opinion is too colorful and not as polished. A video of the final version can be found on Apples website under Guided Tours, the Digital Touch Tour around 11 seconds in :

I would be very curious if anyone else noticed this change and if you like the new interface or the beta version better?

I noticed this during the March keynote. I like this style better.

Yeah I noticed this as well. Not sure which one I like better. This current implementation seems to make more sense tho.

The September one was weird. The crown zoomed even though it was more like a list layout.
