I was setting up a new MacMini. In the middle of the setup, it asked if I want to set up iCloud. I said yes and now all my contacts are gone. I guess it synced with this new macmini whose Address Book is blank.

Fortunately, I have another mac (macbook pro). But I can't turn it on right now, being afraid that another sync will delete the contacts in it.🙁

What can I do to restore my contacts? Please help me.

Contacts took my iCloud about 2 months before they showed up all by themselves so it could be that that they haven't synced, go onto https://www.icloud.com/ and see if your contacts are there if there not then there not on iCloud. If they are then its something wrong on the Mac minis end.

Turn off your wifi network and then open up your MBP and create a backup of your contacts.
