I read somewhere you can use contacts as notes, can u tell me how?
 
You can edit contacts on the fly on the Touch. Use that to your advantage, and make a "Note" contact or something if you'd like, and use the notes subfield as a notepad.
 
Create a contact. Use the name field as a title for your note.
Click on 'Add field', and then select create note.

The iPhone Notes app is hobbled in 2 ways- no synchronization, and no organization of notes. The Contacts app actually solves both those problems, as new contacts are synced and you can use groups to organize your notes.

I wish the notes field was in the default fields though, to eliminate the extra step of clicking 'Add field.' But either way its a great workaround, and very useful to me.
