Contacts duplicated

All my contacts on the iphone look like they have been duplicated, in fact, there's one contact that appears 15 times. I am synced to MS Exchange (and nothing else, not MobileMe not address book) yet none of this duplication appears in any of my other views on the contacts database (eg in Entourage, Web access).

Anyone seen this?

Did you have your contacts synced before you set up the exchange server? Setting it up via the Exchange server is suppose to delete all the contacts on the phone and sync the new ones.

Did I sync ahead of connecting to Exchange? Not that I know of 🙂

I am thinking that if I delete the address book, then re-sync from the exchange server, since everything looks fine there. But I dont see a way to remove the Address Book DB. If I delete the Exchange account, and then reestablish a new account, will it remove or overwrite all the records?
