Contacts from iPhone - Not Syncing to iCloud

Hey Everyone,

I noticed that my phone has a few more contacts, than the contacts on my iCloud account / Macbook. How do I force a merge or sync so my iPhone contacts (that are NOT on iCloud) are transferred / merged to my iCloud contacts correctly?

The contacts button is checked in my iCloud settings on my iPhone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Nevermind, figured it out. I was not saving my contacts to my iCloud contacts....but to my actual gmail contacts on my iPhone.

Switched everything and added everything to iCloud, so everything is sync'ing correctly now.
