Contacts Icon

I've got an iphone 4 which has a contacts icon on the screen & has had from day one, my wife has just got a 4s & this doesn't have that facility. Does it need added manually or is it just the way it is?

No it doesn't need to be added manually.Is it not on another page or in a folder?

No it doesn't seem to be anywhere. What folder could it be in? Cheers
