I tried resyncing Contacts because one of the Contacts photos has disappeared (Messages isn't showing it). I disabled Contacts sync in iCloud settings on my Mac Studio. Not sure if this occurred before or after the sync, but I have several contacts cards (seems one with each letter of the alphabet) that have hundreds of duplicates. They are not present on my iPhone or MacBook Air, but are present on the iCloud website as well as my Mac Studio.
