? Contacts mixup?

I'm having an issue with my contacts. When I send Mrs. EDJ a text to her known number and contact, it goes through to her as an email, as do replies from her.

Also, when she texts me from her number, it comes through to me as if from my own contact. The numbers appear correct in the appropriate contact entry.

This seems to be a problem only between her cell and mine. I still receive texts sent to me from others, and they from me. Mrs. EDJ still receives texts sent to her from others, and they from her.

Anyone have any idea what is happening:?

Check the Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.

Make sure the Start New Conversations From section has the phone number checked and not the email address.
