Contacts saved in ITunes even though I can't view them?

So when I get my 3GS home and sync with ITunes for the first time, will it bring all my contacts and SMS's over to the new phone?

What stuff WON'T be sync'd??

As long as your last iPhone was backed up, everything will transfer over.
