Is it worth putting 1080p content on a iPad or can you not notice the difference from 720p ?

Wasn't sure which one to download from iTunes for my movies and tv shows.

Yes you notice a difference in terms of picture quality, the main argument is between quantity of quality and length of video versus the storage size of the device you have.

iPad Resolution 2048x1536
1080p 1920x1080
720p 1280x720

So far I haven't noticed any difference from 720p to 1080p but have when going down to 480p.

Personally, I use 720p. Difference between 720p and 1080p is noticeable but not overly drastic and I prefer being able to store more content on my device.

Maybe I'm wrong but when i had my iPP 12.9 first generation all the downloaded movies were 720P, Now with new iPP 12.9 second generation download movies are 1080P. I found out that because of download size compare to movie info on iTunes.

I still prefer 720P to 1080P due to storage size, So the question is how can i be sure my download movie from iTunes app is 720P? Besides I never use PC version of iTunes and don't need to connect my device to PC.

Just tell me where is the settings of the quality of HD movies/shows on iPad Pro?

Edit: Solved All iPad Pros download 1080P only. So there is no way back to 720P?
