Continous "Accessory not compatible with iPhone" message. Nothing is plugged into it.

As the title says, I get the "iPhone is not compatible with this accessory, would you like to turn on Airplane Mode" message every few seconds.

There's absolutely nothing plugged into my iPhone, yet this message continues to pop up as I use the phone, and while it's locked.

This is not only annoying, but it's also wasting my battery.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? (I've tried restarting)

Have you got any water damage to your phone? Also, your dock connector could be dirty. Use a small paint brush to clean it.
