Since I kept my 6s alongside my 7 Plus, I have definitely noticed the difference. Especially in my apartment and when traveling.

I agree though, the jet black is really gorgeous to look at. Just wish if not financed through T-Mobile and got the unlocked Qualcomm to try.
One of the reasons I got a 7 right now and most will likely skip7s/8. Those phones will not have tmobiles new 600mhz spectrum incorporated. By the time 8s/9 comes out, the iPhone then should support T-Mobile a new band. With that spectrum purchases, T-Mobile will most likely be up to Verizon's level of reception.

On my Sony Xperia Z3 I could force band 12 for good indoor signal. For some reason even when available band 12 is rarely used by any of my phones even in low signal areas.

Did you get the Intel or Qualcomm?

I'm totally curious. That's why I'm skipping the iPhone this year too. Band 71 and Intel modems (Most likely).

Even if they do Qualcomm on some, I know it wouldn't be for T-Mobile and I'm not about to buy a $1000 device outright. Can't justify it, at all.

-reset your phone (obvious)
-do a network reset (you may have to replace wifi pass words)
-toggle Settings->General->Cellar->Phone
-get a new sim card from your carrier (if it is free)

cell phone reception maps dont have enough resolution to help you

Well darn. I'm at -110 dBm in my bath tub and I might have to use Wi-Fi. I hope they get a better Intel modem in the new iPhone models because this one has been treating me horribly.

Oh well. I'll take $300 off an iPhone 7+ to deal with it. Lol. Can't switch from Tmo. 20% off for life of account. 4 lines with an unlimited tablet line for $98/month lol

Tmo is cheap, has fastest network, and I think is best overall where there is coverage (which is a lot of areas). Their uncarrier initiatives are unparalleled with other carriers following to try to keep up.

Verizon is pricey, but I think they are paying for switchovers from other carriers, not sure if its a limited time.

I'm paying way too much but through a weird loophole. I'm paying on a 6s and 7 Plus on one phone line. Plus I'm paying off an Apple Watch and IPad Pro 9.7. My bill is about $190.

Crappy intel modem strikes again. Too bad the leaked 8 prototypes are going to use this 3rd rate POC modem again for GSM models. May just have to hold out for the unlocked model...

My spare SE Qualcomm equipped iPhone spanks the intel 7+ anywhere on the att network in our area

If the guess on prices in that other thread are real, I'm out on the iPhone X (That's what they guessed the name of based on Chinese leak) as it's way out of my range up front...

Maybe even out of it via payments.

Either the down payment is huge on T-Mobile or the monthly via iUP is going to be $50/month

Seeing how T-Mobile set up the Note 8, I'm thinking they'll ask for a huge down payment. I think they've got a cap on the amount that can be paid monthly. If anyone has experienced anything different I'd like to know but with all my devices it's never exceeded $30 a month for an individual EIP. Taxes and the difference required up front.

I used to have a 7 on T-Mobile. Reception was absolutely terrible. Service would drop out and I would have to throw my phone into airplane mode and back out to get reception again. Building penetration was nonexistent for LTE and very slow when "4g" was available. This is in the Dallas market. I experienced it from downtown to the mid cities to north Dallas. Never went to south Dallas, but doesn't sound any better.

Service is still terrible. A co-worker with an Android still has connection problems and continually is unable to make/receive calls when we're out and about.

I switched to Verizon after a couple months of missed calls, dropped calls and missed texts. It was really awful. Reception is much better now.

What phone do you have on Verizon now?
