This added setting to fix Sonos users will disable your AV Receiver from Up-mixing Standard Stereo Music/Streaming. Although the AV receiver will still say Dolby or Neural X, it will not up mix and play through your multichannel speaker setup. It will just play music through the L-R-Sub speaker. Turn it off if you want your Apple Music or Home Sharing Music Library to up mix with your Receiver. Oh not just Music but streamed shows and movies.

Update. Occasionally ATV with this update that added that feature will ignore that setting turned off and revert to forcing the AVR to just output Left/Right channel...then suddenly it switches back to allow the AVR to up mix the channels back to Dolby or Neural X again. It's a bit buggy so perhaps next update will fix it.
