After having a few problems with 2.0.2 I restored my iPhone. Heres where the new trouble started.

I am now in a never-ending loop of restoring my iPhone from backup. I hit restore from the latest backup date and it restored, and then when it was done nothing had restored and it asked me to restore again from backup. After doing this 4 times I am convinced it will never end.

What the hell!? Someone please help me! How do I get it to actually restore and stop looping?

Edit: I just set it up as a new iPhone and manually synced all my stuff back.

I have had hell with the 2.02 update. First my iTunes errored out and I had trouble getting the new update onto the phone. Now I am having the same trouble as you. However I also tried setting it up as a new iPhone but the sync screws up. iTunes seems to eject the phone but the phone still has the sync in progress message on the screen. Also, nothing really gets transfered.
