Hello All,

I use a Mac Mini for my day to day work, but every week I'll have a couple of Google Meets and Facetimes.

I'm keen on using the Continuity Camera feature, but x2 questions:

1. How can I mount my iPhone (13 Mini) to my Monitor (Samsung 49")?
2. Will contiunity camera work with Google Meet (as well as Facetime)?

Any tips on a mount would be really appreciated, otherwise I'll bite the bullet and buy another bit of tech I don't really need (a webcam).

As to mounting on the monitor, I have no idea. I use a Joby Mount on a tripod and am quite happy with it; along with EpocCam to use my iPhone as a webcam. Works great, is very stable and lets me position the webcam wherever I want. Elgato, makers of EpocCam, also sell a cheaper mount; I believe Joby does as well. I just lke the flexibility the Pro Mount gives me.

It appears it will in Venture. Here is a discussion.

No need to buy a webcam. One thing you will need is a way to power the iPhone if you use it for extended periods. I use a spare 12 Mini as my webcam, and power it via USB from my Mac, or via a wall plug if I am using a WiFi connection.

One thing nice about the Joby Mount is it allows you to attach a hotshoe mounted light; which is helpful if your room lighting is poor.

@jlc1978 Many thanks; I'm using EpocCam now, I had no idea it even existed!!! You've saved me some wonga $$$ I'm looking at the mounts now, but this is great info. I appreciate the effort you went to with the reply... Many thanks! The Joby Mount looks good, so I may go for this, and let you know how I get on!
