I think iMessages on the Mac is brilliant, and having normal old text messages and phone calls appear on your desktop is a great idea, and works really well.

However, I was watching a film on Netflix on my MacBook Pro with my sister, and I could not stop the notifications I was getting on my phone appearing on my laptop. Every iMessage and text caused a "ding!" sound, and when I got a phone call it took me out of full screen Netflix and back to my desktop to tell me.

I KNOW I had a phone call, my phone was unlocked, in my hand.

Any ideas guys?

I don't currently have my iPhone on me to test it with my Mac, but what happens if you enable Do Not Disturb on the Mac? Does that help any?
