Continuity working on macbook but not visible on mac mini?weird

Hello all
everything was working great as concerns continuity with my iPhone and my mac mini
after a couple restores on my iPhone iambic on second beta of iOS 8 and now continuity and its features are working on my iPhone with my macbook pro retina but not on my mac mini. i mani can't see the banner that says iPhone is connected and can use continuity
bluetooth is on in both devices but doesn't appear neither in WIFI as a hotspot option on my mac mini
any ideas?

as i said the feature was working before
but not anymore
as for theca mini i have the latest release (2012)
