Do you use all or any of the continuity features and are they secure?

All it is is text message and telephone call relay over wifi. I use both and like it very much.

App handoff is not Continuity, but rather it is Handoff - a different feature which uses Bluetooth.

And is handoff secure? for example, if I was doing online shopping and putting in my card details could the handoff feature be used to hack my card details?

It is as secure as your wifi password and encryption standard you use.
