I just got an email a moment ago from UPS Mychoice telling me that my package from APPLEINC C-O FOXCONN HONGFUJIN PREC will arrive on Oct. 2nd by end of day. This goes against what the UPS tracker page is showing (delivery on October 6 with the package having departed ZhengZhou, China 09/30/2014 5:15 P.M. Departure Scan). Now which of these am I to believe? Has anyone ever gotten contradictory information like this before?

Really? Rather than an email that was specifically sent to me?
The tracking page looks more like it's broken. It didn't update for 3 days..then it shows a departure but no arrival anywhere after a whole day.
Mine is the same way. Mine left and hasn't been updated for 2 days. I think their tracking system on international shipments are screwy

Just received the same email and have been in the same situation. Tracking online got pushed from the 2nd to the 6th but email says Thursday. Just have to wait and see.
I wonder if there's something legally actionable there if they make you wait on two different days (potentially causing you lost wages if the 1st day you wait ends up having been a deception)
That is odd. I've never had UPS email me, but I've also had their website be wrong for me. I'm guessing it's a glitch that will sort itself out soon. That's why my instinct is that the next update to the site will be the one to go on.
Did you sign up for a MyChoice membership with UPS? Maybe that's why you don't get an email from them. When I go to the UPS site I enter a username and password.
Why would you say that when the tracking system appears to be broken? The email was sent to me as a member on their service and is more recent than the tracking update.
Dont know whats going on with UPS.
My sister was suppose to get her 6+ on Monday and its been reschedule 2 times/days already.
Seriously doubt were getting the phone tomorrow, unless UPS has a direct flight with rockets and can time travel from Hong Kong to Las Vegas.

Yep, this is exactly what mine is doing. The only thing you can do really is call UPS the day of delivery as stated by my choice and see if it jives. I do also have a direct number to the regional manager so that helps in getting the real skinny on these things but indeed, it makes planning hard to do.
While contradictory info is certainly frustrating, seriously this is a pretty minor issue in the grand scheme of things.
Whats the worth that happens? You miss the first delivery, then you tell UPS to hold for pickup and you have a week to go pick it up.

I am in the same boat. I have 2 6+ coming with one scheduled for tomorrow and one for the 6th. The one that is scheduled for tomorrow has been in Louisville since Sunday. When I called UPS on Monday she told me both were coming on Thursday.

How do you know that? The tracking page is clearly broken. If you look back a few messages you'll see that I and others have 2 departure times from China.
That's impossible and indicates that the tracking page is BROKEN. Why would anyone trust that?
