Same issue here. I got an email yesterday stating to expect my delivery today, yet when I tracked it yesterday morning it was showing it was in Hong Kong, I live in Kansas so I was like no way, and besides the UPS tracking site still showed Friday so figured that was more likely. Then I rechecked it on the site last night and it had arrived and left from Alaska and the ETA was changed to today between 1-5PM, and as of now it shows it arrived in Louisville KY @ 1AM this morning so guess it's possible but I'm betting on tomorrow, we'll see.

Just talked to UPS..They say to ignore the email and can't explain the wierd info on the tracking page except to say that international shipment info is out of their control till the package reaches the US.

All I can say is this whole thing has been a total ******* up since preorders started. Apple should be ashamed of themselves for the way they handled this.
And UPS also provides very poor service. They should have send these things by Fed-EX.

Well then if FedEx sucked, you'd be pissed they used FedEx, and on and on and on. The problem is with some folks theres just no winning!

Also, what helps this situation is to not constantly track your package, if they quoted you a day, then expect it, if it is delayed, it's delayed, theres zero anyone can do personally to get UPS to move faster, etc....

so everyone chill, half the time packages never track correctly, I ship crap everyday, 75% never has accurate shipping info, but it always gets there date promised....relax everyone!

Ya I'm not devestated or anything with my shipping but annoyed that it takes so dang long, definitely won't be ordering straight from Apple again. I've always ordered from ATT directly in the past and always got my phone overnight, this one from Apple has been in shipping status since the 25th with multiple delivery date changes.

Duh..They did quote me a day..Originally it was October 2..Then changed to Oct. 6..followed by an apparently erroneous email promising Oct. 2. Then all this wierd tracking info. We paid a lot for these things (remember that credit cards were already charged at the time of shipment) and have a right to get them, when promised. That's a load of BS.

Well..likely we'll all be dead before there can be another iPhone. Ebola is now in the US.

Yup, tracking just updated for the first time in days.

So have either 10/2 or 10/6 even occurred yet? No, its just 10/1, so yeah they're on track for the days they promised you regarldess of the date change, they're still on point. Sometimes stuff happens, regardless of how much you spent on it. I spent my hard earned money too, but I guess we're different in that I'm not obsessing on tracking and b, sometimes there's weather, or issues beyong UPS control, and life just happens.

You're way to wound up about shipping, when literally theres zero you can do, yeah complaining is fun, but its not getting you anything any quicker. dang man sit back and enjoy the fact you're getting your phone sooner than millions of others! The dates they promised you havent even arrived yet, so why bitch about it, lets see what happens, if it is not delivered by 10/6 whatever they quote you, then have beef. If not, they lived up to their date.....

Just got email confirmation from UPS My Choice
Hi Robert, your scheduled delivery date has changed to Monday 10/06/2014. We previously sent you a delivery alert. Unfortunately, the delivery date has changed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I can be patient and its still better than the 13-21st from Apple but jesus pick a date and stick to it.

Did you sign up for a MyChoice membership with UPS? Maybe that's why you don't get an email from them. When I go to the UPS site I enter a username and password.
What I wrote was a bit confessing. I meant it was odd that it looked broken. I haven't signed up for a MyChoice membership so that's why I haven't gotten any emails. I trust the website, it's never been wrong for me.

I'm in the same 10/1, 10/2, 10/6 debacle. Just frustrating because this is a package that requires a signature and coordinating someone to be home to sign for it is proving to be a challenge.

no it doesnt. use the form provided by UPS to pre sign for the package. unless it is not safe for a package to be left at your door step this works just fine.

Dont know whats going on with UPS.

My sister was suppose to get her 6+ on Monday and its been reschedule 2 times/days already.

Seriously doubt were getting the phone tomorrow, unless UPS has a direct flight with rockets and can time travel from Hong Kong to Las Vegas.

UPS does not have rocket technology but they did send it to me in 1 day from kentucky to california. kentucky is kinda like the moon so one can say that they sent it from the moon and as we all know you need a rocket to do that. so by the transitive property UPS has rockets.

Mine was scheduled to arrive October 2, now it's scheduled for October 6. It also can't seem to find its way out of ZhengZhou.

I live in a very safe neighborhood but I have some reservations about leaving a
$1000 brick on my doorstep for any random solicitor to pick up and throw in a backpack. I'm sure I'm not alone here.

Of course there are other options such as leaving with a neighbor or picking up at the ups office but those suck. I don't think it's being too unrealistic to ask them to post accurate tracking info data, especially when it's offered as a service for doing business with them.

For me a small package like an iphone can usually go in between the screen door so that someone would have to actually open the screen door to notice that there was anything there. I've never had any problem with packages left at my door.

Mine said delivers by October 3rd, it arrived in Shanghai on the 29th. It has been sitting there for 2, almost 3 days now. Date has now been changed to October 6th >_>

It went from delivery date of the 2nd, then to the 6th, then there was an Exception where it sad the package could not be loaded onto the plane, and now none at all. This just keeps getting worse. I've never had a tracking experience like this before. Terrible. UPS is a real bunch of &^%$-ups. Wouldn't be surprised if the plane crashed and it was lost altogether.

I am getting the exact same thing, except I ordered my phone on 9/26, and I was supposed to be getting my phone by the end of tomorrow.

Not sure whether you can even see the picture or not, in the past when I uploaded a screenshot it was insanely blurry.

Anyway, my date before was 10/3 from UPS, and 10/8 from Apple. Then, the date was changed on UPS to 10/6, and now it's reschedualing.

Also, before, the shipment progress stopped at the arrival scan in Shenghai, and it was like the for the 3 whole days it was there. Now it changed with the two extra shipment progressions, but they are all within like 20 minutes of each other, THE DAY they shipped. Kinda weird that 3 day old information is just now showing up if you ask me.

How long might it take for them to "reschedule" the delivery?

I ordered on Sept 11 and you ordered on Sept 26..so why is my shipment still with yours. You ordered 15 days later and are getting roughly the same delivery period. That's just wrong.

I assume they ordered the 6.

Actually the weirdest part of thew whole thing is the path the package seems to have taken. It started in ZhengZhou, and somehow departed from the same location twice, which while permissible in the quantum realm is not at all possible in the macro world we live in. It then goes to Korea, which makes sense looking at a globe. Then, however it turns around and goes to Hong Kong which is even further away than the point where it started (looks like it went about 1000 miles in the opposite direction from where it ought to have been going). Then it goes to Alaska, which is where it ought to have gone when it left Korea. That has got to be one of the most wasteful movements of freight I have ever seen.

----------

I assume they ordered the 6.

Ahh..well, like the Wizard (while posing as the gatekeeper) said..Well that's a horse of a different color..Come on in!"..I never inquired as to which phone it was but that sure would make all the difference.

I wonder if there's something legally actionable there if they make you wait on two different days (potentially causing you lost wages if the 1st day you wait ends up having been a deception)

Good idea. Give a lawyer a call and let us know what they tell you.
