Control center issue with 5s

Has anyone noticed that when trying to push play from the control center it does not work? it works on my ipad mini, but not on my 5s has anyone else seen this, its gotta be a software issue as there are no tactile buttons.

I've tried to stop it with music playing, whats more when i go into my car and hook up my car stereo it does not automatically start I have to open music and press play, as it does not work from the control center.

That's obviously software, do a restore and see if it works, after that.

You might also try doing a hard reset as well.
