My wife and I have identical iPhone 13 Pros. My Apple TV remote in Control Center works fine. Hers...does not.

Her phone pairs successfully with the Apple TV. But when she tries to use the remote, the menu at the top says "Choose a TV." When she selects an Apple TV from the menu, she gets a "Connecting..." spinner that times out after about ten seconds, taking her back to "Choose a TV."

Phone is updated to the latest iOS (like mine, which works). Apple TV is updated. Tried rebooting the phone. Tried rebooting the Apple TV. Removed the remote from Control Center and added it back in. Unpaired and re-paired the phone to the TV.

Nothing works.

Has anyone else experienced this? And, hopefully, found a solution?

I have vad same issue and i tride several different solutions but the thing that solved my wifes remote controll problem was to delete her account from the Apple Home App there my Apple TV is the Home Hub and reinvite her to Apple Home again.

Ugh. I just removed her and re-added her to the Home to troubleshoot a different issue, but I guess I'll try it again! Thanks for the advice!

You reboot both devices yet? Wouldn't hurt to do the router in case its a bonjour issue.
