Control HDMI sound with external keyboard

Hello there,

does anyone know an App to control sound volume with an external keyboard and display?
Guess this is a known issue an I've read about Soundflower which doesn't run on Big Sur (?).
So is there an alternative? I have the apple keyboard attached and want to use the keyboard shortcuts.

Edit: I have also tried the App MonitorControl but it does't work for me idk why.

Try Sound Source from Rogue Amoeba. It has a 'Super Volume Keys' feature that enables you to adjust volume for external outputs using a keyboard's volume keys. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for your reply.

But lets face the truth. I'm German and I don't want to spend money on this.
So is there a free alternative? SoundSource only works for 20 minutes after each launch.
