Control LG TV Volume with iOS app?

Hello all!

First, apologies if this is not the right forum for this question - just wondering if anyone out there can help. I have one of the newer LG OLED TVs with HomeKit and AirPlay 2; however, I haven’t been able to find a way to control the TV’s volume with my iOS remote app (from control center). Has anyone been able to get this to work? Am I missing something?

I control the tv volume with the LG app or Apple TV remote.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing but I swear I saw someone with iOS 13 that had TV volume control built into the control center remote. Ah well. 🙂

try the volume buttons (physical buttons the side of phone) when you have the control open

those are enabled in some places, not sure if it will work there though.
