I try to find software, which allows me to control my other Mac in same room.

I prefer not to use Bonjour so my neighbors don't see my computer and avoid any icloud stuff and try to keep sharing etc settings as tight as possible.

What software is best for me?

Turning "Screen Sharing" on in Sharing will run a VNC server in the background - if you know the IP address or hostname of the machine, you can log into it with any VNC client. From another Mac, it would be "Connect to server" from Finder, using vnc://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Thanks.

My 2 machines are connected using Ethernet cable. If i do this, does it send ANY information outside of my 2 computers to net or to my 3g net stick or does it require Bonjour?

Where i find this IP?
