Controling iphone's music from desktop?

Like a reverse remote app? Is there a way?

I want to hook up my iphone to my receiver but want to change songs from my macbook pro........can it be done?

It would probably be a lot eaiser to hook your receiver up to something like Air Tunes, which would allow you to control your music from your MacBook Pro.
