HomePod Controlling HomePod while stream from computer

Im currently streaming my music via airplay from my Mac to my HomePod . Is there a way to control my content without using iTunes or Siri? IG, Id like play a specific album from my library. TIA
 
I think the only way to do that is from iTunes, if you have apple music, you should be able to tell Siri to play that album though
