Hello,
I'm trying to setup a surround sound system of a sort with my Macs. What I'm trying to do is to make it so when I play a sound file such as a song from iTunes or a movie in Quicktime that it plays though the speakers on both the Mac I'm doing it from, and all the other Macs in my house. I have one Mac in several rooms and would like to play the same music from each Mac and have them all controlled by one computer. Is this possible to do?

Thanks for your help!

Look into the streaming options for VLC. You can stream all sorts of audio and video. I'm not sure about the iTunes factor, unless someone has come up with a plug-in for VLC that can capture and transmit the output or iTunes.
