Controls not working

I searched and found nothing about this...

So when I plug in my apple headset ( the ones that came with the iPhone 3GS ) I can't use the controls anymore.. Anyone have a clue why?

The headphone controls? I'm not sure what you're asking.

Apple headphones are pretty shocking. All mine break within a month or two - not very versatile. If you've ever sucked/chewed the wire/controls, it will stop the controls from working.

There's a volume control and a play/paus control on the headset that comes with the iPhone. And they don't work anymore.. I have tried with another set of headset ( also Apple original ) and it's obvious it's the phone...

If it's obvious that it's the phone, take the phone to Apple.
