Hi,

I'm having problems with avi to dvd. So ive got an avi file, and im using toast to convert avi and put it onto a blank dvd. However. When i play back the dvd the audio is no bother but the frame is all jumpy if anyone knows what i mean. Does anybody know how to resolve this. Also which would be better to use toast or idvd?

Many thanks

Known problem with Toast. I have this issue too. The built-in Toast codec converter is pretty useless.

I use VisualHub, convert the file to .mp4 and then use Toast to burn it. Problem solved.

I'm really annoyed that I have to do that - I paid for Toast and yet I have to use a 3rd party application to do what Toast should be able to do! Just as well I already owned VisualHub or I'd be fumming about having to spend more money to get their product to work properly.

VisualHub. Costs $23 but well worth it if you own an iPod/iPhone/AppleTV or just want to convert video in general.
