Hi guys,

I've been given a job at work to convert a bunch of .cr2 files into jpgs. Kinda difficult as i only have adobe CS (1) and os x 10.3.9 ......

anyone know of a solution?

At home i have cs3 and leopard - isthere a solution on this platform? I could always take the job home i suppose 🙁

I don't remember using CS1 at all, but I think you could update the ACR to read the CR2 files and then save them as JPEG. You can definitely do it on CS2 or CS3. Just make sure you have the latest Camera Raw plug-in.

Give Graphic Converter a try. It only costs $35.00, but you can do a lot with this application.

I use bibblelite. Works great. Another option is rawphotoprocessor. (google it)
Or just use iPhoto.

If you have a Mac, I think you can do it in Preview. Open the image up in there. Convert, Crop, a whole bunch of stuff.

Well, assuming that you have a Mac, open the image in Photoshop and go to File>Export. Select jpeg for the format 🙂

I suspect the OP figured this out, given it was posted over four years ago.

That, or he got fired because he couldn't convert the .cr2 files...
