So I finally was able to update my iPhone XS to iOS 13 last week but now all my photos are some weird .plist format and Ive been unable to open them in Photoshop. I tried an online batch converter but the data gets all screwed up and the colors get inverted. Is there a way to convert my photos from .PLIST to JPEG?

plist isn't an image file. You grabbed the wrong file. The iphone shoots in jpeg or HEIF depending on what you have set. Or you can shoot in RAW in 3rd party camera apps.

I selected the photos and uploaded them directly to my google drive from the iPhone gallery. Im not sure how else I could select images and not .PLIST files.

Edit: and by upload from gallery I mean I did so directly on the iPhone with the google drive app.

Those look more like the edits for a file. A list of edits done to an image rather than the actual image itself. Just a guess. Plist files are not ones you should see in IOS. You're transferring directly from the photos app to google drive using the share button?

Have you edited those images? Perhaps in a 3rd party app?
Have you tried other methods of transferring photos? Email or airdrop?

I just uploaded a photo from the photos app on my iphone to google drive and it worked fine. It shows as a jpeg in google drive.

I went into google drive app, hit the + button and chose photos from gallery to upload and got this:
[automerge]1569967517[/automerge]
either way, I was able to use a darkroom app to batch select all the photos, and export them to a new folder on my phone, and use those no problem. It's probably an upload issue with google's drive app or something but a pain in the butt, lol

ahh, I see. Yeah it sounds like an issue with the google drive app. You can batch select photos right in the photos app and send them off to anywhere that way.

I think I'll try that next time-- it was quite odd because I couldn't figure out why the heck none of the photos I took were working when I've never had an issue before. When I photograph the polyhedral dice I make, it's a pain in the butt having to wait for the right time of day for lighting and I was nooooot in the mood to have to retake all those pics lol.
