hi guys

i just removed my internal dvd drive to install an extra hdd to my macbook pro, but i want to give some use to my removed internal dvd drive by making it external, is this possible? which would be the ideal enclosure to do so? (by looks, size, portability)

thanks

well guys just to let you know, i found out from an ebay seller that some enclosures are not MAc compatible....weird

I would recommend OWC's (www.macsales.com) enclosures, they sell a variety based on your needs. I use an inexpensive USB one that I now use to create a bootable clone, the disk inside is my MBP's original HD.

dvd drive

I just removed my internal dvd drive to install an extra my macbook pro. This is the advantage to get the external drive by removing the internal drive. So we can replace by it and get the facility to assemble it.
