I have a video made in Nero on Windows and want to convert it to an Apple-friendly format to work on it in iMovie.

Can someone help out with how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

HandBrake can export .mp4 files, not the best way, but easy.
Then there is Mpeg Stream Clip, it allows you to export a variety of formats, depending if the source is readable. iMovie takes .mov files with the Apple Intermediate Codec, which is only available on Mac OS X.
