Convert old Quicktime videos to a format compatible with iPhone

I have some old Quicktime music videos that will not sync to my iPhone because it says that they are incompatible. What can I use to recode the files so that I can put them on my iPhone? Does Quicktime Pro do that, or can someone recommend an app that does? I am a Windows user. Thanks

Yes, QuickTime Pro can do that. So can MPEG Streamclip & iSquint.

EDIT: Look for 'Create iPod or iPhone version' in the 'Advanced' menu, in iTunes.
