macOS convert pbproj to xcode

I am using mac 10.6 and xcode-3.2


I refered some documents they asked to rename the pbproj to xcode and then open.

But its not working for me.


How to convert a pbproj to xcode proj.

you have to rename .xcodeproj .

Then, open normally and Xcode will alert about updating the document because was created in older version.

Works for me.

Under Xcode 3.2.1 I had to rename to .xcode first for it to allow me to save to .xcodeproj. Otherwise hitting the Save button didn't do anything (bug?).
