iPod "Convert Selection for iPod"

Does anyone know the specifications of the output file if you convert a video in iTunes by clicking, "conver selection for iPod"? and does this work well for the iPod touch?

If you have QT Pro it does the samething.

but at like what settings?

cuz the video that i have to convert is much lesser quality than that of what you'd download from iTunes. i don't want it to take like 200kpbs video and upscale it to 1500 kpbs and have just dead space.

I never looked at it. I know when I converted DVix files that were set at max res they stayed close to the Dvix size. I'll check it out.
