I downloaded a movie thats around 2 hours long in .flv format. I need to get it into whatever file would work in itunes which is i think .mp4. Is there a free converter that will do the trick for me? all help is appreciated, thank you :apple:

thanks for the quick response, im trying out MPEG Streamclip as we speak but its taking awhile for the movie to load... is it becuase of the movies size?

I don't know, as I don't know the size or the specs of your computer, unless you have that PowerBook G4, which is slow for today's standards. ;)

.flv files are highly compressed Flash Video files using the H264 codec, thus it takes a while, especially if the file holds a two hour movie.
