Converting DVD_RTAV to Video_TS(or any other format)

Hello all and thanks for all our help over the years, but like the saying goes long time listener first time caller so please forgive me if I miss all the details needed........Here goes...My wife switched our Samsung SC-DX103 mini dvd camcorder settings to VR mode witch then made a dvd that is DVD_RTAV format. And as most know this is a protected file format. My question... I am trying to convert this disk somehow so I cam import into iMovie. I have tried VLC, Toast, Open Shiva, and some others. I apologize if this has been solved in other posts, but I have not run across said thread.

Have you used MacTheRipper yet?

Also MRoogle might help you finding some solution on this board.

I have....it doesn't even see the disk! Maybe because it is protected? I don't know.
