Has anyone been able to convert the contacts list in MS Outlook (not Outlook Express) into addresses in Entourage for Apple? I have tried exporting the address into a CSV file, and it doesn't work. There is no option in the Entourage programme to import a pst file from Outlook either.

Best regards,

Yeah, I had the same problem. I tried Entourage, but switched to Apple Mail because it was so integrated with everything else.

What I wound up doing was sending vCards of all contacts to myself by email... those imported like a snap. Probably a better way to do it, but in a pinch it worked.

I was having the same problem yesterday... I tried importing it from a csv file and it didn't work at all. It just gave me a bunch of blanks in my contacts.

I tried and tried and tried using CSV, TSV and other, and it just wouldn't work. I have an entire spreadsheet with columns of contact info, but for whatever reason, it wouldn't sort those columns into the right categories in the entourage contacts. After much frustration, I gave up and started typing.

I looked and found nothing. It really shows M$ commitment to Apple. So I elected to use Mail and have not regretted it.

I never used much of the junk in Outlook anyhow. I haven't looked deeply into Address Book, but have heard that it doesn't have as many fields. So far that hasn't been an issue for me.

For me the ability to arrange messages by threads is great.
