Converting movies into really small iPhone size

I see movies that are 100 mb big,and TV shows that are 50 mb.My question is how to convert movies for iPhone to a such small size?With what program?

I like using VisualHub or Handbrake on Mac. I convert with Videora when I use windows.

Handbrake if you need decryption (through VLC on OS X and libdvdcss on Linux). There is a Windows version, I presume it also decrypts Content Scramble System (CSS).

Toast/Popcorn (OS X)

iMovie will export to iPhone/iPod touch as well.
